There are several zoos and similar attractions nearby.

The Zoo de Champrépus (near to Villedieu-les-Poêles) offers a chance to view over thirty different species of wild animal, including lion, tiger and other big cats [see picture] living harmoniously in 14 acres of landscaped parkland. There are picnic and snack-bar facilities on site. Similarly attractive zoos in parkland can be found at La Bourbansais Chateau at Pleugueneuc (south of St.Malo) and at Jurques (between Vire and Caen).
