There are many equestrian centres offering horse riding for beginners to advanced level in the area.

The nearby "La Mazure" Theme Park offers visitors the opportunity to ride a horse or to promenade in a carriage. Beginners and serious riders may also benefit from the specialist facilities at the Equestrian School at Précey. This area is famous for racing horses that pull riders in small chariots, and it boasts the world champions Jules Lepenntier and his horse "General de Pommeau".

 Pony trekking is also available along routes around the bay of Le Mont St-Michel.
